The butterfly has been the symbol of consistent change, cycles, growth, and ultimately, transformation. Not only are these amazing creations symbols of great change, but they represent the regeneration and creation of life. The metamorphosis of butterflies is s considered one of nature’s greatest mysteries. We must learn how to adjust to change in our lives, especially loss.
The metamorphosis of the caterpillar to a butterfly embodies the principles of physical and spiritual transformation. The butterfly, indeed, represents the essence of the never-ending cycles of change. As members of the human race, we are constantly changing. When we decide within our spirit to be truthfully generous while acknowledging change, we partake of an enormous consciousness that admits riches, wealth, and prosperity to all the lives we touch.
I personally admire the butterfly and the changes it must go through. We, too, must endure changes as well, from baby to toddler, from toddler to teen, from teen to adulthood, from adulthood to middle age, and from middle age to elderly. Change is unpredictable, but a realistic expectation. Death and loss are also expected, guaranteed life occurrences, and we must develop ways to cope with them.
